Abstract: (316 Views)
Armed conflicts and global crises pose profound threats to mental health, affecting not only those directly involved but also surrounding communities and healthcare providers. This editorial highlights the growing importance of non-pharmacological psychological interventions—such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Life Skills Training—in promoting mental well-being and resilience. Drawing on studies featured in this issue of the Caspian Journal of Health Research, it emphasizes the potential of evidence-based, culturally sensitive approaches to address the mental health challenges of our time. Mental health must be recognized as central to public health, especially in the face of uncertainty and crisis.
